PantherRES took a brief respite from the Real Estate wars to help the Ella McFadden Day Care at the Fort Worth Downtown YMCA tidy of the walls with a bit of paint. The goal was to get more paint on the walls than on the bodies. I don't think that goal was met. The Downtown "Y" is in the middle of their fund raising campaign "Step-Up for Kids". The campaign helps fund the special programs like McFadden and the Amaka program in the Butler Complex.
Cassata High School
Cassata High School in Fort Worth has a special place in the heart of PantherRES. The school is a last chance school for many young kids who have not found their way in the public school system. Trey Presswood has given his time to the school to help with their Mentoring Program and Mark Presswood has recently given his time to help oversee the renovation of the historic school. Please if you are feeling generous think of Cassata High School in your giving plans.

Panther Real Estate Solutions has completed renovations at 2917 Morton St. for the opening of the Velvet Box's second store on August 1. Reeder General Construction was chosen as contractor and PantherRES brokered the site and managed the development of about 4,300 square feet of retail space. Marcelle LeBlanc of the Velvet Box is planning a grand opening in the fall.
